Install Windows 8.1 upgrade you're forced to create a Microsoft Account

If you've using the Windows 8.1 upgrade you might find yourself stuck being forced to create a Microsoft account.

This is very annoying but simple to overcome.

Just select Create a new account and from the next screen

Click Sign in without a Microsoft Account.

Alternatively unplug the network cable and the selection process will fail and you'll be able to proceed without a cable.
