After installing vSphere 5.5 you encounter the following when you try to login to the VI client "The vSphere client could not connect to "servername". You do not have permission to login to the server: "servername".


After installing vSphere 5.5 you encounter the following when you try to login to the VI client "The vSphere client could not connect to "servername". You do not have permission to login to the server: "servername".



Clear the checkbox and enter the username administrator@vsphere.local and password as you entered them during the installation.

You can then goto the permissions tab and assign permissions to your local and domain Windows accounts.
